New Video, Song & Audio: Cage The Elephant

Cage the Elephant are an awesome indie rock band hailing from a southern state in the United States of America.  The Cage the Elephant boys started to make an impact in the UK much before they did in the US.  In Mar 2008 we were lucky enough to spend a whole day with Cage The Elephant while they toured the UK in support of their up and coming album.

During our time with the boys we filmed everything we did and put together a “Day In The Life Of” feature for the guys showcasing what really happens during a day in the life of Cage The Elephant.  We started the day off at our studios where we had a blast recording an acoustic session with the guys and doing a video interview.  One of the songs we recorded is an absolute exclusive and is not available anywhere else and the first time they recorded it was with us!  We then followed them around for the rest of the day at the venue, doing a sound-check, we even took the boys up to Cardiff City Centre so they could buy some new CDs all of which we filmed.  We got backstage antics and live footage and all in all had an amazing day with the Cage The Elephant boys.  We even did a quick promo photo shoot in our chroma key studio.

Chris Maguire was responsible for recording, producing, mixing and mastering all of the audio.  Chris did most of the camera operation, direction, video editing, titles and special effects for the video side of the project and he also did the photography, art photography, colourization and re-touching for the photos.  Phew! The Cage the Elephant boys really knew how to take advantage of Chris’ skill-set in one day .
