New Song: Broken Season - Cage of Rusted Gold

Another track completed day for local Welsh Grunge Rock band Broken Season. “Cage of Rusted Gold” is unlike the other Broken Season tracks as it has more of a chilled out vibe whilst also being equally as heavy. This is my favourite vocal performance by the band to date and lyrically the song is great. Lots of creepy sounding tremelo guitars, big choruses and vocal effects coupled with a full string section make for a great listen.

Chris Maguire recorded, produced, mixed and mastered this track in one studio day. Chris was also responsible for the string scores and their associated performances which gave the final track a more epic overall feel, particularly the cello work towards the end of the track.
