New One Sheet: Winch House - The High Cost of Low Living

As the Winch House album is due out on Altsounds Records on July 6th we put together some PR mailouts to send out for review etc. First we wrote the press release and then we created a custom one sheet to look and feel like the album cover design, we then got these all printed up and sent off along with review copies of the debut Winch House album “The High Cost of Low Living”. Pembrokeshire in Wales, is probably the last place on earth you would expect to find an outstanding band. Recorded at Screamadelica Studios in Cardiff in 2008 and Produced by Altsounds.com owner and Director Chris Maguire [helloiamchris.com], “The High Cost Of Low Living” is “a nice slice of Pop Punk freshness”. In an environment where bands are a dime a dozen Winch House have thrived and developed an intensly fresh sound. Living on a diet of Blink 182, New Found Glory and Sum 41 (amongst many, MANY others), Winch House forge a sound which is both refreshing and unique, whilst at the same time they somehow manage to sound re-markably familiar.

Youth culture, massive choruses and a sound designed to please peoples ears all combine to make “The High Cost Of Low Living” by Winch House a must have album.
