New Album: Clinigol – Melys

It has been over a year but it is finally done.  We have just finished up Recording, Producing, Mixing and Mastering seven tracks for the up coming debut album “Melys” by Welsh Pop Stars Clinigol.  There are various guests on vocals on this album including Margaret Williams, Siwan Morris, Bleed Electric plus more.  The album goes from Pop thru R&B to Dance and everything in between.

At Screamadelica Studios we not only did A LOT of audio work for this album but we also did the front cover Photography, Design, Colorization and Photoshop work.  We also did the center covers of the booklet.  The photo-shoot involved grotty locations, an ice-cream van and lots of fake colours!  We even co-wrote a song for the album, which also features our very own Bleed Electric also – “Oh My Days”.  Chris Maguire also features vocally on “Oh My Days” and “Hufen Ia”.

This was a very interesting project for us to do from a musical standpoint as it is Welsh Language and we don’t speak Welsh.  As lyrics couldn’t be understand we made sure there was enough hooks in it musically so that non welsh speakers could enjoy it just as much.  This worked out well as hundreds of non Welsh speaking folks are playing the track from all over the world.
