New Myspace Design: Cure The Disaster

And here we are again! More work for the awesome (and now Cardiff based) Cure The Disaster. After successfully recording their debut EP “Un-dressed to Impress”, designing said album cover and doing a photo shoot the final piece of our current puzzle with Cure The Disaster came in the form of a brand spanking new Myspace Page design.

Going with the theme of the band and their new EP I went for a really bright and vibrant background design that instantly hits you in the face. Next up I put together a custom header that showcases a photo of the band, their separate Twitters, solo photos and all associated connection (Facebook, Twitter and Myspace) links for each member before the actual page begins!!

A custom left column was then put into place along with a custom contact box that emanates the text from the CD cover. The left column continues with custom merch, video and info sections that I am sure Cure The Disaster will be updating in the future. Custom headers were used thought for things like “Blogs”, “Tour”, “Friends” and “Comments”. We also did two custom animated GIFs and all associated photography.

Doing the photo shoot for Cure The Disaster first allowed for a lot of this to be thought out well in advance and has allowed for what I would consider to be our most rounded Myspace design to date with regards to incorporating the look and feel from the CD cover and the band in general throughout it. The response for this Myspace has been amazing and within one minute of saving the design to their account people were commenting on how much they loved the design.

If you like what you see get in touch because we can do something similar for you.
