New Music Video: Bleed Electric - The Last Night of 1989
The amazing genre spanning, future fresh new band of the moment, Bleed Electric have just put together the finishing touches for the debut music video for the single “The Last Night of 1989.” This song will be released as a debut single in January 2010 along with the double A side “Special Weapons and Tactics” that features Kryophere and two remixes, one of “Birds as High As Planes” and one of “Eight Years Late For Dinner” both done by the awesome german house producer Sven Erler. Bleed Electric will also be shooting a second music video for “Special Weapons and Tactics” which will be coming here soon. This video will be the polar opposite to “The Last Night of 1989″ and will see a post apocalyptic Bleed Electric rocking out with a 7 piece death metal band, burlesque dancers, fire eaters plus so much more - one not to be missed for sure.
EPILEPSY WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS FLASHING IMAGERY
“The Last Night Of 1989″ sees Bleed Electric being time warped back to 1989 in their brand new music video for their debut single “The Last Night of 1989″ which is taken from their up and coming album “Radio Friendly Unit Shifter.” SILK, SIEGE and MUG5 are transported to December 31st 1989 to “party like a rockstar.” You see us playing cosmic synths in the Bleed Electric HQ, rocking out with our friends and even rocking out inside the flux capacitor of a Black Delorean, we kid you not. Where the fuck is Doc Brown anyway?
All this crazy shit and unrelenting swagger makes for a must see music video in “The Last Night of 1989″.
All music recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by Bleed Electric
All video, art direction, special FX and editing by Bleed Electric
THAT’S RIGHT FOLKS…..WE DO IT ALL OURSELVES!
Thanks to:
Richard Shelton for various camera work, pinkpunkblue for his beat detection animation, DVJ Million for some background animations, Fahrenheit Dance Studios / Stereotype Cardiff Wales for providing the dancers and choreography particularly Leighton Wall and all the solo dancers, Callum Glover for his crazy ass dance moves, Seven Clothing, DJ Raheem for his Scratch Tactics, Ricard Jackson for the pimp location and John Sims for the pimp mobile.
This music video took 4 full days to complete. One day was the physical filming which saw Bleed Electric travelling to Swansea airport in a Rolls Royce to do some pre club shots only one of which made it to the final video. 1pm saw us turning up at Oceana in Cardiff where we were greeted by our 40 dancers for the video, a few hours there before coming back to our Green Screen room for a few hours green screen action.
The second day saw us watching all of the captured footage and choosing our favourite shots both for the club and the green screen. Day three saw the complete focus on the green screen and background animations and the fourth day consisted of putting everything together, bouncing, converting, uploading etc.
We did pretty much everything on this with Richard Shelton from Aurora providing his awesome camera operation skills. We did all the video editing, colourization, titles, Special FX, Chroma Key, Lighting and everything else that you see in this video. We are really proud of this work and hope that you guys like it as much as we do.
Comments Welcomed.
