New Music: Dead Fashion – Close But No Cigar

Today we had Dead Fashion in the studio recording for the first time to record their new single “Close but no Cigar”. The track is something between Set Your Goals and Four Year Strong and has that strong American Punk sound. I got the band experimenting with harmony for the first time and the boys thoroughly enjoyed their time at the studio. This is what they had to say:

Hi Guy’s Well we finally have a new layout . We also was in the studio yesterday for 11 and half hours lol it was wicked. We will be putting it up today sometime but i don’t know when, it’s called “Close But No Cigar” we recorded it at “Screamadelica Studios” in cardiff. We will also be taken all our songs off our myspace player and uploading our new version of our acoustic song “Penny” its a hell of a lot better than the one on our player atm. Chris Maguire recorded, produced, mixed and mastered the track and it was all done in 11 hours.  Chris also did backing vocals on the track.
